Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

The EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) mission aims to promote a respectful and open environment within our GDR, where members of our community can feel welcome and supported as they work together to advance their scientific research.

Our current objectives include:

• To serve as a resource in times of difficulty. The mission’s co-leaders can be contacted to provide guidance to anyone facing a problematic situation (discrimination, harassment, inappropriate behavior). The mission does not replace institutional mechanisms, but it can provide assistance, support, and refer individuals to the appropriate departments.
• Strengthen our community’s ethical and inclusive framework. The mission develops and provides tools designed to promote best practices and ensure safe and respectful interactions for everyone in our community. These tools include codes of conduct and resources for organizing events, for example.
